Human Design was developed by Ra Uru Hu in the late 1980s, drawing inspiration from various mystical and esoteric traditions. The system involves analyzing key aspects of a person’s birth chart, such as the positions of the planets, to create a unique Bodygraph chart. This chart then outlines various components, including energy centers, defined and undefined gates, and profile lines.
Energy centers in the Bodygraph correspond to the chakras, indicating areas of consistent energy flow or potential conditioning. Defined gates represent specific personality traits or characteristics, while undefined gates suggest areas where a person may be more receptive to external influences.
The system also incorporates the I Ching’s hexagrams, assigning them to each gate to provide additional insights.
Human Design encourages individuals to align with their “strategy” and “authority,” which are personalized decision-making tools based on their specific chart.
Each personalized session will include your customized chart based on your birthdate, time of birth, and location of birth.
Your Strategy, and Authority will be explained in detail.
As time allows, discussion of the gates & channels will be discussed.
The chart is yours to take home, and a recording of the session will be provided within 24 hours of the session.

In Human Design, “strategy” refers to the recommended approach an individual should take in making decisions and navigating life based on their unique Bodygraph chart. Each Human Design type has a specific strategy. Here are some common types and their associated strategies:
Generator Strategy: Generators are advised to wait for something in life to respond to. Instead of initiating, they should respond to opportunities and stimuli that come their way.
Manifesting Generator Strategy: Similar to Generators, Manifesting Generators are encouraged to wait and respond. However, they also have the ability to initiate action after responding.
Projector Strategy: Projectors are advised to wait for recognition and invitation. They are more likely to find success and satisfaction when invited into projects or situations.
Manifestor Strategy: Manifestors are encouraged to inform others about their plans before taking action. By informing, they can reduce resistance from those around them.
Reflector Strategy: Reflectors should wait for a full lunar cycle (about 28 days) before making significant decisions. This waiting period allows them to gain clarity and avoid making impulsive choices.
Following one’s strategy in Human Design is believed to lead to a more authentic and harmonious life. It’s a way to align with the individual’s design and work in accordance with their natural energetic flow.
In Human Design each authority provides a unique lens through which individuals can approach decision-making, aligning with their inherent strengths and design.
Emotional Authority: This authority involves waiting for emotional clarity before making decisions. Individuals with this authority experience emotional waves, and waiting for the emotional wave to stabilize can lead to more aligned choices.
Sacral Authority: Common in Generators and Manifesting Generators, this authority relies on the gut response. It involves paying attention to the body’s response, typically feeling a yes or no in the gut when making decisions.
Splenic Authority: Intuition plays a crucial role in this authority. Individuals with Splenic Authority make decisions based on immediate, instinctive knowing without logical explanation.
Solar Plexus Authority: Similar to Emotional Authority, Solar Plexus Authority involves waiting for emotional clarity. This authority specifically relates to the solar plexus energy center and its emotional fluctuations.
Self-Projected Authority: This authority involves talking through decisions. By vocalizing thoughts and considerations, individuals gain clarity and insight into the right choice.
Ego Authority: Decision-making based on the feeling of self-worth and empowerment. Those with Ego Authority should recognize their value and make decisions that honor their sense of self.
Lunar Authority: Tied to the phases of the moon, this authority involves observing and making decisions over the lunar cycle. Different phases may influence decision-making in various ways.
It is essential for individuals to identify and understand their specific authority type for more authentic and harmonious choices.
In Human Design, “gates” refer to specific points on the Bodygraph chart, each associated with a hexagram from the I Ching. The chart is divided into 64 gates, and each gate represents a particular energy or characteristic. These gates are further grouped into channels, which connect defined centers in the chart.
When a gate is activated by a planet in a person’s birth chart or through transits, it influences specific traits or aspects of an individual’s personality. The gates are numbered 1 through 64, and each has a distinct meaning.
*For example, Gate 34 is associated with power, strength, and charisma.
It’s important to note that the interpretation of gates in the context of a Bodygraph is highly personalized, as the overall chart configuration and interactions play a significant role in determining their impact on an individual’s design.
Understanding the gates in Human Design can provide insights into an individual’s strengths, challenges, and potential areas of growth.
