Reiki & Chakras
Reiki is based on the belief in a universal life force energy that flows through all living things. Practitioners use specific hand positions or gentle touch to transfer this energy to the recipient. The goal is to promote balance and harmony within the body, mind, and spirit, aiming to alleviate stress, discomfort and encourage overall well-being. Reiki can only do good. The practitioner is the conduit between the Universe's energy and the receiver. No energy between the practitioner and receiver is exchanged.
There are seven major chakras in the energetic body. These chakras are wheels of energy that spin and work together when open and fully functioning. Each chakra is associated with specific physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Many factors can cause disruption or block a chakra.
